Resilient Agency meets with Los Angeles Deputy Mayor of Community Safety Karren Lane
On May 9th 2023, Resilient Team members met with Los Angeles Deputy Mayor of Community Safety Karren Lane to discuss the investment and future of Community Violence Intervention. This meeting was planned through Urban Peace Institutes - Los Angeles Violence Intervention Coalition a city wide Coalition comprised of Community Violence Intervention Agencies.

On December 17th, 2022 Resilient, in partnership with Avalon Carver, YouthBuild, and Local South LA Artist Eric “CRE 8” Walker commemorated the completion of the “Rise to Resilience” project. “Rise to Resilience” was inspired and sponsored by Blue Shield Promise to create space for more than 20 local youth to help create and install the mural on the community center. It was the final project of “Rise to Resilience,” 12-week art therapy program.
